Often, citations of webpages can be limited to notes only. If the information on the web page you are citing has been updated or deleted, make sure to indicate that as appropriate in your body text or notes. Ideally, retain a copy of a web resource that you think is likely to disappear in your own research records.
Very often with web pages, the author will be a corporate author or there will be no author to include.
