From the Office of Postsecondary Education of the U.S. Department of Education. Use this tool to create customized reports for research relating to equity in athletics data. The data are drawn from the OPE Equity in Athletics Disclosure Website database, which consists of athletics data submitted annually as required by the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA), by all co-educational postsecondary institutions that receive Title IV funding (i.e., those that participate in federal student aid programs) and that have an intercollegiate athletics program.

Since 1991, Team Marketing Report has produced the annual Fan Cost Index® for teams of the four largest US sports leagues: Major League Baseball, National Football League, National Hockey League and National Basketball Association. The FCI measures the cost of a family of four to attend a game with a standard measurement of ticket costs added with typical food, drink and souvenir costs, as well as parking.

-across one or more seasons
-by league (MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL only)
-by team across a league
-year over year FCI
-by DMA (looks at the value of all teams in a specific region)

-based on years when new venues opened vs. not
Includes access to the raw data with teams’ FCI and average rank (most to least expensive within their league in a given season)
