  • The corporate web site of your company will be the first place to look for information.  Here you'll find things like press releases, annual reviews, social media links and maybe even plans for future products.  Keep in mind that this information is provided by the company itself and is written to present the company in the BEST possible light to its customers and shareholders.

Statistical Sources on the Web

  • Consumer Expenditure Survey program provides data on expenditures, income, and demographic characteristics of consumers in the United States. b
  • Bureau of Labor Statistics is a great resource for business-related statistics of all kind.
  • Explore Census Data - find population statistics from the U.S. Census
  • Data.gov   Portal for all available U.S. government data 
  • Economic Census - Every 5 years the Census does a special review of businesses in the country.  The most current information is from 2017.
  • Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping the world.
