The Academic Integrity Tutorial is now available as a Canvas Module that can be copied into any course. The Academic Integrity Tutorial serves as an introduction to academic integrity for BVU students. It is appropriate for both online and on-campus student use. The tutorial is based on information from the International Center of Academic Integrity (ICAI) and the BVU Academic Honesty policy. The module includes the following sections:
1. Introduction to Academic Integrity
2. BVU Policy on Academic Honesty
3. How to Avoid Academic Integrity Pitfalls
4. Understanding Plagiarism
5. BVU Student Resources
Some sections provide ungraded comprehension questions that students can take multiple times. Upon request, optional discussion questions are available. The tutorial is designed for students to complete on their own in about an hour. Contact Jodie Morin to access the course.
