Library Resources for Faculty

We are a small staff and it is unusual when we are all here at the same time.  You should feel comfortable approaching anyone with your questions or concerns.  If the person you are speaking with can't answer your concerns, they will refer you to the person who can.

Jodie Morin, Library Director  (Library 1103)

Jodie's job:  Oversee library staff, library budget and finances, library policies and procedures, collection development and acquisitions, library instruction, research help, acquisitions, open educational resources.

Holly Schettler, Research Librarian/Liaison to Extended University Programs (Library 1104)

Holly's job: Provides research assistance to BVU students and faculty, particularly our online students and faculty.  Contact Holly for library instruction or consult with her on the feasibility of assignments using library resources.

Joan Curbow, Reference Librarian / Archivist ((Library Archives)

Joan's job: Oversees the BVU Archives (founded in 2013), print and digital preservation of university history,  research help, print journal ordering and binding, serials holdings.

Alyssa Grigsby, Digital Resources and Technical Services Librarian  (Library 1102)

Alyssa's job:  Oversee all of the library digital resources, including the catalog, over 130 databases, and thousands of e-journals, cataloging of  print & electronic library materials, off-campus logins, web page creation and updates, and research help.

Kelly Olson, Access Services Coordinator  (Library Processing)

Kelly's job: Library circulation, interlibrary loan lending and borrowing, student worker supervisor, library budget and finances.
